Mahogany Frog, Gregory Pepper, thisquietarmy & Millimetrik

The intent of this show is to expose us all to things we really should be hearing. There's an amazing variety of sonic textures available to us if we're open to them, and so I'm so very excited to announce the lineup of this epic electronic-tinged show. Firstly, one of the bands most worthy of the buzz surrounding them, Winnipeg's Mahogany Frog. Last time they were here, precious few managed to experience the full-on glory of their set, but word has spread, and I'm certain that the 3' of room remaining, after their extensive gear arc, will be absolutely packed. Gregory Pepper will be bringing an intelligently ecclectic sound to Waterloo for the first time. thisquietarmy and Millimetrik will be bringing us a taste of the ambient electronics floating from Quebec. We'll be starting earlier this show, as it's a four band set, and you won't want to miss any of it. This is a chance to expose yourself to something out of the ordinary, something forward-looking, and something truly special.
  • Mahogany Frog - Winnipeg - ambient electronic collisions reverberating darkly
  • Gregory Pepper - Guelph - a shipbuilder of boats made of unsuspecting pop
  • thisquietarmy - Montreal - the whirring hum in the background of a city's progress
  • Millimetrik - Quebec City - reverberrating beats evoking a hopeful sense of loss
