Timber Timbre, Evening Hymns & Ghost Bees

Friday, November 23th, 2007

In all honesty, this is one of the most beautiful shows possible in Canada right now. Three of the most magical musical acts currently performing are converging on 130 King St. N. I'm really looking forward to this weekend's shows, and so should you be.
  • Timber Timbre - Toronto - haunts the edges of an imagined campfire
  • Evening Hymns - Peterborough - soft soothing tales of a life not at sea
  • Ghost Bees - Halifax - meandering dream-like harmonies

Languid Lotus CD Release, featuring BA Johnston, My Dad vs. Yours & Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

This is certain to be a CD release to remember. Our friends, the Languid Lotus project will be celebrating the release of their new album, with a killer lineup of bands in support. The disparate sounds will take us from peaks of spoken word to the depths of roots music, from the eclectic uncertainty of indie rock, and to the soaring heights of post rock. As it's a 4 band show, we'll be starting the music earlier.
